This famous island  paradise, the largest on the east coast, is still primitive and sparsely populated.

Its beauty  can be seen in its large jungle, many waterfalls and beautiful beaches with crystal clear waters that teem with the colourful fish which inhabit the coral reefs.

The village of Tioman is on the north of the island, and its houses are built in the style typical of the traditional  kampung architecture.

There are no roads or cars on the island, only a small airstrip connects Tioman with Singapore.
